Summary: Habivo collects only the data necessary to provide the service. We do not sell your data to third parties. You can delete your data at any time from within the app.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:
- Email address — used for authentication and family member invitations
- Name — displayed in the app and shared with family members you connect with
- Authentication provider — whether you signed in with email, Apple, or Google
App Data
When you use the app, we store:
- Goals — titles, descriptions, categories, dates, and progress
- Milestones — associated with your goals
- Routines — task names, schedules, assignments, and completion status
- Check-ins — weekly reflections and motivation scores
- Family members — names and email addresses of people you add
- Profile preferences — language, focus areas, and avatar
Technical Data
We automatically collect:
- Session information — to keep you logged in securely
We do not collect device identifiers, location data, or browsing history.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain the Habivo service
- Authenticate your identity and secure your account
- Enable family member connections and shared routines
- Send invitation emails when you add family members
- Improve the app based on usage patterns (aggregated, non-personal data)
3. Information Sharing
We share your information only in these limited circumstances:
- Family members: When you connect with family members, they can see your name and routines you assign to them
- Service providers: We use trusted infrastructure providers to host our database and send emails
- Legal requirements: If required by law or to protect rights and safety
We never sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely in a PostgreSQL database with encrypted connections. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Sessions use secure, httpOnly cookies. We use HTTPS for all data transmission.
5. Apple Sign-In
If you sign in with Apple and choose "Hide My Email," Apple generates a private relay email address. We store this address for authentication purposes. If you later choose to share your real email, we update our records accordingly.
6. Email Communications
We send emails only for:
- Family member invitations (when you add someone by email)
We do not send marketing emails or newsletters.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data — all your data is visible within the app
- Delete your data — use "Reset All Data" in the Profile tab to permanently delete all your goals, routines, family members, and check-ins
- Delete your account — contact us at momentumum@myteams.no to request full account deletion
- Export your data — you can export routine overviews from the app
8. Children's Privacy
Habivo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
